Introduction to Lean Thinking - Its origins and concepts

Learning to See

An overview of the typical wasteful practices found in process & manufacturing environments and how to recognise them. For on site programs, this usually includes a walk-around of the workplace or factory floor which provides practical examples for use during and after the program.

Lean Office Simulation

A fun and engaging manufacturing simulation played over a number of cycles, gradually introducing lean concepts such as work cell alignment, single piece flow, kanban and process balancing cycle by cycle. KPI's, a P&L and participant observations are recorded during play and provide a powerful demonstration of the benefits that these tools provide in terms of reducing stress and increasing productivity.

Team Problem Solving & Process Improvement techniques (in an on-site situation, participants will use examples they identified in the earlier walk around)
